Originally designed by Ralph Mesrobian, this 1955 home has been reimagined with the theme of “warm modern” in mind. The recently completed renovation includes an open floor plan that gives expansive views of the site’s mature landscaping from virtually every room in the home. A massive, split-concept porch roof updates the original facade. A custom, pivot door opens and upon entry, a theme of “fire and water” is emphasized, tying together the great room fireplace, a spacious pool/spa, and a second gas ribbon fireplace located on a terminus wall directly aligned with the front door. Contrasting uses of glass, black metal, and stained horizontal cedar throughout the interior and exterior evoke the home’s mid-century roots. Furnishings are modern with touches of European historical leanings. The color theory throughout drenches the home in a spa like environment.
